The Estates & Facilities Division keeps the Trust sites running and manages one of the largest portfolios across the NHS. Our Residences Department provides accommodation for clinicians who are on call and for those who require longer-term accommodation due to being newly recruited to the Trust. We also manage the Bexley Patient Hotel where out-of-area patients stay whilst receiving outpatient treatment.

We are a small team of 3, consisting of one Residences Manager and two Administration Officers.

What you will bring to the role

  • Dealing with patients and doctors who require accommodation. This could be via telephone, email or in person.
  • Answering email queries regarding all aspects of accommodation.
  • Restocking houses following the departure of a tenant, and preparation for the next clinician who requires accommodation.
  • Raising tenancy agreements and eviction documents when required.
  • Taking payments, and keeping records of payments for accommodation.
  • Attending meetings with service providers, e.g., Facilities Staff.
  • Contributing to the production of information for distribution across the Trust, including web-based information.
