A leading global technology lifecycle and services partner is expanding its Repair Operations team in Solihull and is looking for an experienced engineer to help diagnose, repair and improve a wide range of complex electronic equipment.
What you’ll be doing
- Test, diagnose and repair electronic equipment to component level.
- Fault-find and reverse engineer PCB assemblies.
- Introduce new products and repair processes into the workshop.
- Create and maintain technical test procedures and documentation.
- Support and mentor other engineers on new equipment and repair methods.
- Carry out software and hardware upgrades, assembly and disassembly, and maintain accurate repair and warranty records.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in component-level electronics testing and repair.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and PCB fault diagnosis.
- Ability to reverse engineer boards and identify complex faults.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently while meeting customer deadlines.
