About the School

Prospero Teaching is looking for Primary school Teaching assistants in Swansea. The role is fully flexible to suit the candidate’s needs and is a supply position that may lead to a longer‑term contract. The position is open to both new and experienced Teaching Assistants, and performance may result in an extension.

Contract Details

• Location – Swansea
• Position – Supply Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – General Cover
• Contract start – ASAP
• Duration – Long/Part term
• Work hours – Normal school hours (8:30am – 3pm, for example)
• Minimum rate of pay – GBP 89.76 per day
• Full time/part time – as required

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the last year (free training provided)

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced child‑barred DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last two years
