Comhairle nan Eilean Siar in Barra is seeking a Homecare & Reablement Assistant. This permanent post is 17.5 hours per week with a salary of £14,547 to £15,104 per year, inclusive of £1,417 Distant Islands Allowance.
The service supports people to live at home with person‑centred care. SVQ2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required for SSSC registration; new staff will be supported to gain the qualification quickly. Closing date: 7 September 2026.
