Technical Consultant – Risk Analytics, SQL, Crystal Reports

Overview

As Technical Consultant, you will lead technical delivery across client implementations in risk analytics. You work with cross-functional teams to design and deploy infrastructure, enabling rapid returns on investment and reliable operations. You will manage greenfield planning, run client implementations, and bridge clients with Professional Services. Your work includes creating SQL-based report templates aligned with client needs and best practices. This role combines independent execution with collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield implementation planning and delivery
• Run client implementations and manage own projects
• Serve as liaison between clients and Professional Services for project deliverables
• Create report templates using SQL per client requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with presales and cross-functional teams
• Work independently yet collaboratively under tight deadlines

Key requirements

• 3 years commercial experience of Application Support or Implementation / Configuration
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or Maths
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Microsoft SQL Server skills (DBMS architecture, design, tuning, PL/SQL)
• Ability to read Java and XML
• Ideally Crystal Reports experience
• Ideally background in financial technology or front office technology
• Experience in business analysis or project management (or desire to gain)
