In this role you will lead end-to-end audit engagements for a diverse client base, from SMEs to multinational groups. You’ll drive audit quality, mentor junior staff, and manage timelines and resources to ensure timely, accurate reporting. You will act as the primary client contact, delivering clear, professional communications and high-value service. Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to final reporting, ensuring UK auditing standards compliance
• Supervise and mentor junior team members to support growth and high-quality deliverables
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for efficient completion
• Prepare and review key audit documentation, management letters, and client reports with precision
• Act as a trusted client contact and maintain professional communication

Key requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of audit experience in practice
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS with proven audit application
• Excellent organisation and time management to handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; CaseWare (or similar) experience highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team engagement
