Full Stack Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the development of SaaS solutions as a full stack engineer. You will work inside a fast-growing London-based tech SME that serves UK clients and government bodies, shaping software used across public sector functions. You will tackle end-to-end development, from backend Java services to modern frontend interfaces, applying cloud-native patterns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable products while pursuing personal and professional growth. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack SaaS applications using Java and JavaScript
• Build microservices with Spring Boot and containerize with Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop frontend components with Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Deploy and operate cloud-native apps on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and scripting for automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced SME environment

Key requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices
• Frontend framework experience (Vue.js preferred; React/Angular acceptable)
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
