Overview
In this role you will service and maintain security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and access control, to relevant industry standards. You’ll work as a technical expert within a project-driven team that values long-term client relationships. You will manage planned maintenance, respond to issues, and provide clear reports and recommendations. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute annual maintenance and reactive responses for security systems
- Prioritise and manage own workload to meet schedules
- Complete service reports and provide client recommendations
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain relationships with clients
- Work on-site with intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with standards
Key requirements
- Experience in electronic security industry
- Experience with IP-based networks and security systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to lift and climb ladders
- Experience in customer-facing environments
- Problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with diverse customers
- Industry qualifications (18th edition/NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC) – desirable but not essential
