Senior Backend Engineer

Salary Range | £140,000 – £170,000

Harrington Starr is partnering with a leading digital assets and blockchain technology firm to hire a Senior Backend Engineer.

This is a high-ownership role building backend systems that power blockchain infrastructure, staking products and data platforms.

The Role:

• Build and own backend systems end-to-end
• Design APIs, services and blockchain data pipelines
• Work on staking, validator and infrastructure integrations
• Own architecture, testing, deployment and observability
• Define engineering standards for reliability and security
• Mentor engineers and shape technical practices

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience in Golang
• Deep understanding of distributed systems
• Blockchain experience, ideally within Ethereum
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps
• Strong ownership, testing and problem-solving skills
