Analyst Real Estate Investment Banking / SCS

Overview

As a Senior Analyst at JLL, you will prepare and analyze the client’s financial performance, supporting forecasts and budgets for senior management. You will develop and enhance reporting tools and processes to deliver value-added analysis and insights. You’ll coordinate revenue and expense projections, consolidate reports, and contribute to executive presentations. This role blends financial analysis with cross-functional collaboration to drive cost-effectiveness and improved planning in a fast-paced real estate environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and compile monthly/quarterly operational and financial data; produce consolidated reports and variance analyses
• Support quarterly management and client presentations
• Assist in managing the budget process; ensure forecasts and budgets are accurate and complete
• Coordinate analysis and consolidation of revenue and expense forecasting and budgeting; propose interventions to improve cost-effectiveness
• Develop tools for financial analysis and projection; draft control reports to ensure data quality
• Participate in implementing new systems, processes, and reports to increase agility and value creation
• Act as Advisor-Representative of the Planning and Financial Analysis group on tech projects with other departments
• Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed

Key requirements

• Minimum 3+ years in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Experience in commercial real estate preferred
• Professional accounting designation preferred
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills (PowerPoint; SharePoint; Power BI/Query)
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager and Advanced Forecasting and Budgeting an asset
• Strong analytical, data interpretation and synthesis capabilities
• Strategic, innovative mindset with ability to challenge the status quo
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
