B1 Roaming Licensed Engineer. (Newcastle, Edinburgh, Leeds/Bradford)

Overview

In this role you will perform line maintenance on Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets, ensuring safe and compliant operations across roaming bases. You will work with minimal supervision within a fast-changing environment and mentor junior technicians. The role supports fleet reliability and AOG recovery, contributing to Ryanair’s growth and expansion plans. This opportunity offers hands-on impact in a high-volume, cross-base maintenance context.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification on 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintain safe and compliant working environment per procedures
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
• Good IT literacy with AMOS experience (Desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
• 5 years maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA HF/Module 9 & 10 if not yet completed (if applicable)
