Overview

As a Programme Manager at Safran Landing Systems, you lead UK and international defence programmes from opportunity shaping to execution. Responsibilities

• Lead new defence programme opportunities using market and customer insights to shape strategies
• Drive bid activities (RFIs/RFPs) and define scope, feasibility, planning and QCD commitments
• Act as a senior customer-facing representative supporting negotiations and aligning requirements
• Establish and lead Integrated Programme Teams (IPTs) post-contract
• Manage overall programme performance including QCD, profitability, risk and compliance
• Lead programme security across UK military programmes and support audits
• Oversee Export Control governance for UK Military and Commuter programmes
• Champion programme management best practice and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience in defence or aerospace with military contracts and complex partnerships
• Proven cross-functional programme/project management experience from concept to delivery
• Strong customer-facing leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Good commercial and financial understanding with contractual knowledge
