Senior Product Manager, Ecommerce and Growth

Our client is a UK technology business that helps founders set up, run and grow their companies. Their platform brings company creation, compliance, accounting and payroll into one place. They have a large, established customer base and ambitious growth plans for the next three years.

The role

The website already gets plenty of traffic. The job now is to turn more of that traffic into paying customers. You will own growth across the ecommerce site and purchase journey, from the first visit through to checkout. You will work day to day with the marketing team and the wider web team.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning conversion across the website, landing pages and checkout
• Using funnel data, analytics and user research to find out where customers drop off and why
• Running a structured testing programme, and measuring the results properly rather than relying on opinion
• Taking ideas from marketing, SEO, design, engineering and commercial teams and deciding what the team works on, based on evidence and likely impact
• Working with engineering and design to ship improvements quickly
• Reporting results and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• Product management experience in an ecommerce or web-led digital business
• A track record of measurably improving conversion, with numbers you can talk through
• Confidence with analytics and funnel analysis, using tools such as GA4, Amplitude, Hotjar or similar
• Hands-on experience of A/B testing and experimentation
• The ability to prioritise between competing stakeholders and explain your reasoning
• Experience in a startup or scaleup is helpful
