Electronics Test Engineer

Overview

In this role you support and maintain production test equipment to keep manufacturing running smoothly. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to implement improvements, resolve technical challenges, and drive yield and efficiency gains. Your work ensures new products integrate smoothly into production and that test systems stay reliable and up-to-date. The position combines hands-on engineering with continuous improvement in a collaborative environment, offering meaningful impact on delivery and quality.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain production test equipment with documented changes according to standards
• Carry out preventative maintenance to improve up-time and equipment performance
• Collaborate with Test Development to integrate new products into Manufacturing
• Address and resolve technical challenges on manual and automated test equipment
• Monitor and improve yield; implement improvement solutions
• Identify and champion test and product build enhancements
• Apply knowledge of electronic systems, components and manufacturing processes
• Leverage LabVIEW and TestStand for debugging and interfacing instrumentation
• Share improvement techniques (DFMA, Value Engineering, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma)

Key requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related subject (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in Electronic Engineering and manufacturing environments
• Collaborative approach and ability to inspire cooperation
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic mindset with track record of delivering results
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of test fixturing and related engineering subjects (valued)
