Delivery Drivers Christmas Peak 2026 | Owner-Drivers and Employed Drivers | Tyrone & Fermanagh
Location: Omagh, Dungannon, Cookstown, Strabane and Enniskillen, with routes across Tyrone and FermanaghContract: Seasonal, full time, Monday to Saturday, from mid-November to 24 December 2026 (possible ongoing work in the new year for the right people)Pay: Owner-drivers earn up to £200 per day (self-employed, performance-based: the more you deliver, the more you earn). Employed drivers earn up to £15 per hour including bonus.
DPD Tyrone & Fermanagh delivers parcels for the UK’s leading parcel carrier across both counties, and Christmas is our busiest time of the year. We are recruiting 12 additional drivers to join our depot teams for the 2026 peak.
Two ways to join us
- Owner-driver (8 positions): You bring your own van (SWB or MWB panel van, roadworthy and presentable) and your own hire-and-reward insurance. You are self-employed and paid per route completed. This is the fastest route to starting and to earning.
- Employed driver (4 positions): We supply the van, fuel and insurance. You are employed on a fixed-term seasonal contract and paid weekly.
What the job involves
- Collecting a pre-sorted route from the depot each morning and delivering parcels to homes and businesses in your local area
- Using the DPD handheld scanner and app (full training given)
- Representing DPD with a friendly, professional manner at every door
- Working Monday to Saturday through the peak, with routes allocated as close to home as we can
What we need from you
- Full UK or EU driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability from Monday 23 November (induction from 10 November) through to 24 December
- Physical fitness: parcels can weigh up to 30kg, and the day is busy and active
- Owner-drivers also need a suitable van with valid MOT and tax, hire-and-reward insurance (or the ability to arrange it within 7 days of an offer), and a UTR number
- Previous multi-drop or van experience is welcome but not essential. Reliability and attitude matter more.
