Salary/Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of £20.66
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (4 days in the office, 1 day work from home where operationally feasible)

About you
- Minimum of a Level 6 qualification or degree (or proven equivalent experience)
- At least three years’ experience managing operational or administrative functions within a similar setting
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract monitoring, and quality assurance standards (such as Customer Service Excellence)
- Proven ability to lead teams, implement business improvement strategies, and develop operational plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
What you’ll do
- Lead the Sports Services Unit’s quality assurance initiatives, including external validations like Investors in People and Customer Service Excellence
- Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures
- Manage business support services to optimise income streams, including Vitality Membership and ICT systems such as Leisure Management software and Legend Leisure Management software
- Coordinate and review service delivery, ensuring efficiency and high standards through policy reviews and process improvements
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to maximise service impact and community participation
