An outstanding Secondary School in Peterborough is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join its technical team. This is a hands-on role providing 1st and 2nd line support across a range of users, systems and devices.
The Role
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email and on-site
Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware and connectivity issues
Install, configure and maintain PCs, peripherals and software
Support user accounts, devices and basic networking
Assist with infrastructure upgrades, deployments and IT projects
Provide support across servers, backups and security systems
Log, manage and resolve incidents through to completion
Work closely with colleagues to maintain a reliable IT environment
About You
2+ years’ experience in an IT support environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
Good understanding of networking and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to prioritise and manage multiple issues effectively
Proactive approach with a genuine interest in technology
