Corporate Relationship Director, Real Estate Finance

Overview

In this role you will manage and grow a portfolio focused on Real Estate Finance, originating high-quality new business and building trusted relationships across Guernsey’s REF market. You will develop a strong local network and prepare briefs for meetings to align products with client needs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to maintain credit quality and support senior management with financial insights. This is a path to an externally recognised qualification and career progression. You will shape solutions in a dynamic market with a client-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a Real Estate Finance portfolio and originate high-quality new business
• Develop a local network of customers, property professionals and introducers
• Prepare briefs and pitch books for meetings with customers and prospects
• Identify customer needs using planning tools and deliver high-quality interactions
• Support senior management to assess and analyse customers’ financial information
• Maintain credit quality of the portfolio in collaboration with senior colleagues
• Act as a visible internal and external presence in the market
• Provide proactive support to teams to drive income through multiple channels

Key requirements

• Detailed financial analysis capabilities including debt capacity analysis, financial modelling, valuation and debt structuring
• Experience in providing proactive support to teams to drive income
• Awareness of financing and risk management trends to develop innovative solutions
• Strong knowledge of the local Real Estate market and economic outlook
• Track record of delivering high-quality transactions and building relationships in a corporate environment
• Ability to undertake detailed risk analysis and complex debt structuring
