Overview

In this role you drive the sales strategy for Design Hotels across the UK & France, strengthening relationships with luxury travel partners and premium MICE audiences. You will lead business development and brand advocacy to grow room nights and revenue for member properties. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement regional initiatives and elevate the Design Hotels portfolio in the luxury market. This is a growth-focused, relationship-driven position with a global context and a clear impact on brand equity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Leisure & Entertainment client segment across the UK and France, focusing on high-value travel advisors, agencies, consortia, and premium partners
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key accounts and identify opportunities to drive revenue for member properties
  • Coordinate sales events with the Events team according to the regional strategy
  • Represent the brand with in-market presentations to drive commission revenue
  • Initiate regional sales initiatives, including bespoke client events, roadshows, sales calls, and FAM trips
  • Drive growth for member hotels through strategic initiatives like targeted Sales Missions
  • Participate in onboarding of new member hotels with strategic guidance
  • Represent the brand at global trade shows, luxury travel forums, and networking events
  • Leverage data-driven insights to tailor regional strategies and strengthen brand equity
  • Promote the Design Hotels Collective program through outreach, training, webinars, and meetings
  • Meet revenue targets by managing a portfolio of key accounts and partnerships
  • Engage in weekly revenue/funnel meetings with Global Reservations to identify high-potential group business
  • Use consultative selling to optimize conversion, upsell, and cross-regional collaboration
  • Adhere to CRM guidelines, reporting structures, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align initiatives and brand strategy
  • Mentor interns and contribute to strategic projects like market research and business planning

Key requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or premium travel with established UK luxury market relationships
  • Experience in on-property or global sales is preferred
  • Bachelor-level or higher education in related fields is not strictly required beyond the stated degree; candidates with the required 2-year degree and relevant experience are considered
