GCP Data Platform Architect & Data Quality Lead (Hybrid)

IG Group is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to own the technical architecture of IG’s GCP data platform, including Core Lake (BigQuery) and real-time ingestion. You will lead complex migrations from AWS/on-prem to GCP-native capabilities and define self-service patterns for trusted data access across divisions.

You will drive data quality, establish data contracts, and mentor engineers while coordinating with Compliance, Finance and Data Science in a hybrid London/onshore/offshore setup.
