Associate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a strong team with direct client, partner, and contractor contact
• Oversee projects from concept to delivery, including design, procurement, subcontracting, factory and site acceptance, and commissioning
• Guide engineering design tasks to ensure high-quality solutions
• Drive business development within a key segment of the engineering department
• Prepare technical presentations, perform peer reviews, and provide strategic project guidance
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure needs are met

Key requirements

• Extensive design-focused experience in the nuclear sector, across new build and decommissioning
• Strong leadership with ability to influence and guide engineers
• Track record of delivering projects end-to-end
• Ability to lead and drive business development efforts
• Familiarity with European and American standards and post-Charter engineering knowledge
• Strong communication, including technical presentations and peer reviews
