Supply Chain Manager

Overview

In this role you will own the supply chain function to ensure smooth flow of materials and products. You will lead procurement and supplier relationships, pushing continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. You’ll work with finance, operations and production to support forecasting and inventory management, while developing a high-performing procurement team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage key vendor relationships
• Oversee purchasing, sourcing and contract management activities
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement and logistics
• Analyse market trends and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with finance, operations and production teams to support forecasting and inventory management
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure service levels are met
• Lead and develop the procurement team and promote best practice

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
• Experience developing procurement strategies and delivering cost-saving initiatives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction or industrial environments is advantageous
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
