Key Responsibilities• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.• Oversee purchase and sales ledger functions.• Manage payroll processes and statutory payments.• Prepare VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance.• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.• Produce year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors.• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and financial regulations.• Develop and improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.• Support senior management with financial planning and business analysis.• Manage credit control and monitor company cash flow.• Lead and support the finance team where required.
Requirements• Completed ACCA with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or SeniorAccountant.• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial regulations.• Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, Xero,QuickBooks, or similar).• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent organisational and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
