Milk Education is currently looking for a friendly, organised and hardworking School Admin Assistant to join a primary school in Crumpsall on a full-time, long-term basis, running through to the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced school administrator who is confident working in a busy school environment and has previous experience using the Arbor system.

The Role

As a School Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out general school administration and supporting the smooth running of the school office.
  • Answering the telephone, meeting and greeting visitors and supporting the reception area.
  • Checking DBS documentation and photo ID as part of the school’s safeguarding processes.
  • Supporting with attendance administration and keeping school records up to date.
  • Using the Arbor system confidently for day-to-day administrative tasks.

Working Hours

The role operates on a two-week rotating schedule:

  • Week 1: 8:00am – 3:45pm
  • Week 2: 8:30am – 4:15pm

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience using Arbor is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a school administration or school office environment.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • A friendly and bubbly personality with a professional approach.
  • Confident communication skills when dealing with staff, parents, visitors and pupils.
  • Ability to integrate well within a busy school team.
  • Hardworking, reliable and able to work independently when required.
  • Experience supporting with attendance is desirable.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
