Overview

In this Civil Engineer role, you will deliver civil design across residential, commercial, industrial and public-sector projects from feasibility to construction. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team in the Wellingborough office and take increasing project responsibility, including client and stakeholder engagement. You will shape development infrastructure schemes and contribute to planning, budgeting, and progress reporting. Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of civil engineering elements including highways, drainage, levels and external works
• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS strategies and drainage calculations
• Production and review of engineering drawings, reports and technical documentation
• Liaison with clients, local authorities, contractors and other design teams
• Coordination of junior engineers and technicians where required
• Contributing to project planning, fee proposals and progress reporting

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in development infrastructure design (residential or commercial)
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, PDS or similar
• Strong understanding of UK design standards, SuDS, adoptable drainage and Section 38/278/104 processes
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
