Pre-Construction Manager/CDM Advisor

Overview

As Pre-Construction Manager you will lead pre-construction for multiple small-scale construction projects up to 2 million in value, working on site. You will underpin the project from concept through planning to delivery, ensuring robust CDM practices. In addition, you will serve as CDM Advisor, guiding health and safety risk management to meet legal requirements. This dual role supports the construction team in delivering safe, compliant projects within a renewables-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-construction activities for several projects up to 2 million in value
• Advise the construction team from concept and planning through to delivery
• Act as CDM Advisor to ensure health and safety risk management complies with CDM regulations
• Ensure projects meet legal and regulatory requirements and align with the company’s safety standards
• Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to integrate early design, procurement, and construction planning

Key requirements

• Experience in pre-construction management for construction projects
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety risk management
• Site-based role with capability to advise across concept, planning, and delivery
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
