Site manager – 50,000 – 60,000 – East London

Overview

As a Site Manager for an award-winning developer in East London, you will lead residential construction on affordable homes projects from inception to completion. You will work within a reputable, family-run housebuilder to deliver high-quality schemes, manage on-site teams, and drive safety and productivity across RC frame, timber frame, and traditional construction methods. This role offers the chance to shape a major East London project and contribute to delivering affordable housing at scale. You will be the on-site lead, coordinating multiple trades to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate full on-site teams to deliver residential schemes from inception through to completion
• Oversee construction on affordable homes projects in East London
• Coordinate RC frame, timber frame and traditional construction methods on site
• Ensure quality, safety and programme milestones are met
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage day-to-day on-site operations
• Maintain compliance with CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid requirements
• Report progress, risks, and mitigations to project leadership

Key requirements

• Strong track record delivering new build residential schemes
• Experience with RC frame, timber frame and traditional construction methods
• Experience working for a reputable housebuilder
• Excellent all-round construction knowledge
• Strong man-management skills / ability to lead and motivate full site teams
• First Aid, SMSTS and CSCS
