Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Overview

In this role you will own and shape the organisations infrastructure and security posture within a lean, high-trust tech team. You will manage infrastructure, endpoints, identity and email security, and automation and patching, while mentoring junior engineers. You will collaborate with security specialists to evaluate new platforms and drive the cyber security roadmap. Expect ownership of security posture, SOC interactions, and compliance activities to keep the business compliant and resilient. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity to broaden your cyber security expertise and influence across the whole organisation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage infrastructure and endpoints, security operations, identity and email security, and automation & patch management
• Mentor first-line engineers and engage with security specialists to evaluate new platforms
• Mature CIS Framework alignment and drive the cyber security roadmap
• Design and tune SOC detections and playbooks with Arctic Wolf Concierge Team
• Manage PCI-DSS audit processes and test IR and DR plans
• Collaborate on core infrastructure and network connectivity within a Microsoft environment

Key requirements

• Strong experience in infrastructure and network connectivity
• Experience in a Microsoft environment including 365, Entra ID and SharePoint
• Understanding of IT compliance audits such as PCI-DSS
• Hands-on cyber security experience
• Ability to work autonomously and own the security roadmap
• Willingness to work in a hybrid London role (3 days in the office)
