Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical work packages on complex data centre projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage sub-consultants to drive integrated, sustainable design
• Engage with major global clients, presenting technical information clearly through sketches, drawings, and reports
• Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to achieve excellent outcomes
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster technical growth and collaboration
• Apply digital design tools and low-carbon strategies to optimize energy efficiency and building performance

Key requirements

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng via CIBSE, IMechE, or equivalent)
• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (Master preferred)
• Strong background in mechanical building services design, with data centres or mission-critical environment experience
• Proficiency in industry-standard mechanical design software
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams on fast-paced projects
• Excellent communication of concepts to clients and project teams
