Lead Developer role combining hands-on coding with people leadership to design and build scalable applications. You will shape technical direction, uphold engineering standards, and mentor a growing team. Collaborating across cross-functional teams, you’ll deliver high-quality software and drive cloud-enabled, NoSQL-based solutions for manufacturing. This hybrid Nottingham position offers hands-on coding and a chance to influence culture and delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development with C# .NET, Angular, and AWS
• Lead and mentor a team including 1-to-1s and performance discussions
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery standards
• Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design

Key requirements

• Strong experience with C# ASP.NET / .NET
• AWS experience (Azure may be considered)
• TypeScript & Angular (18+)
• NoSQL databases
• Proven technical leadership in a lead developer or senior role
• Experience mentoring developers and conducting 1-to-1s
• Strong experience in Agile environments
