Senior Python Backend Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and operate backend systems that connect AI models to the product, enabling end-to-end AI workflows and reliable API features. You’ll work in a small, high-caliber team focused on real-world usage, with emphasis on execution, consistency, and production readiness. You’ll tackle latency, throughput, and reliability at scale while integrating with external systems. This is a remote-first opportunity in a growing AI product team.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate inference pipelines and orchestration layers
• Build backend services for AI-driven workflows
• Ensure low latency, high throughput, and effective batching and caching
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and production reliability
• Provide APIs to serve AI features consistently
• Support end-to-end AI workflows from data to deployment
