Sr Data Scientist – FDE – Security Check (SC) Clearance

Overview

In this role you drive data-driven solutions for high-impact clients within Microsoft’s Frontier Company Engineering. You’ll work in cross-functional, fast-moving teams to deliver production-ready AI and cloud-based analyses that solve complex missions. You’ll iterate with customers to shape data strategies, models, and experiences that scale securely. Responsibilities

• Acquire and prepare data for modeling and maintain usable data sets
• Evaluate and improve models, set best practices, and develop scalable operational models
• Research industry trends to identify strategic opportunities and contribute thought leadership
• Write extensible code and develop debugging expertise across features
• Define business and customer goals, collaborate with teams to explore opportunities, and align with customer needs
• Embed within customer-facing contexts and uphold Microsoft culture and values

Key requirements

• Data-science experience with structured and unstructured data
• Experience or strong interest in customer-facing environments
• Travel readiness ~25%
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in relevant fields (as above)
