Data Analytics Senior Manager – Kings Cross London

Overview

As Data Analytics Senior Manager, you will lead the DA function to deliver accurate, timely information for decision-making. You will chair governance councils and align data initiatives with CSI strategies, shaping enterprise-wide analytics capabilities. You’ll manage cross-functional projects, establish data architecture standards, and drive quality and accountability across the analytics lifecycle. This is a strategic role with impact on budgeting, resource planning, and mentoring a global team. Responsibilities

• Champion data analytics governance and policy reviews
• Chair and facilitate the governance council on analytics priorities and resource allocations
• Lead DA workstream projects across cross-functional teams
• Define planning processes for DA solutions including inception, design, development, testing and delivery
• Review/approve work plans, timelines, and resource commitments
• Approve data architecture, models and specifications
• Publish performance metrics and service level plans for DA
• Prepare and manage budgets for DA assets and teams
• Recruit, develop and motivate DA staff
• Advise executives on the role of DA in business optimization
• Align DA tech with CSI strategic initiatives
• Approve selection of tools and frameworks for analytics
• Oversee data governance, data preparation, data warehousing, reporting/analytics, and data delivery
• Oversee DA COE (competency center) initiatives

Key requirements

• University degree in computer science, economics, operations, management, or related field
• Minimum five years of progressive experience with demonstrated management capabilities
• Extensive industry/domain experience in finance, HR, sales, marketing, product lifecycle management, manufacturing and post-sales service
• Experience with agile software development
• Solid understanding of trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Analytical mindset with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience managing global, complex projects and teams
