The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends.
The rate of pay for this position is £9.55 to £12.75 per hour depending on your age.

About The Role
To be responsible for the preparation and presentation of meals for the greatest enjoyment of the guests and maximum profit contribution to the hotel.
- To assist other chefs in the kitchen area.
- To provide the highest standards of preparation and presentation for guests and to ensure expectations are met.
- To ensure that the kitchen areas are maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems reported immediately.
- To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- To maintain the security of stock areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.
- To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
- To ensure that guest dissatisfactions are dealt with efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
- Any other duties as required by Management.
Required Criteria
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure and be a team player
Desired Criteria
- NVQ Level 2 or the equivalent in Professional Cookery or working towards
- A food hygiene certificate / a minimum level 2 food safety qualification
- Experience in a high-quality establishment, preferably a hotel
