In this role, you will manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters within a respected regional firm. You will provide practical, empathetic guidance across divorce, financial remedies, cohabitation disputes, and private children issues, while building strong client relationships. The position offers exposure to public law children work for those who want to broaden their expertise, and a clear path for career progression in a supportive, hybrid-working environment. You will work closely with a well-regarded Legal 500 Family team to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of family matters

• Work on financial remedy proceedings
• Assist with cohabitation disputes and private children matters
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Support business development and networking
• Potential exposure to public law children work

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
• Strong background in privately funded family matters
• Experience handling divorce, financial remedy and children matters
• Public law children experience is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
