David Jay Surveying Recruitment is delighted to be working with a number of established Surveying practices that are continuing to expand their Residential Surveying teams.
We currently have multiple opportunities available across England and Wales, covering both lender workflow and private client workflow.
Whether your experience is predominantly within mortgage valuations and Level 2 Surveys, or you’re an experienced Residential Surveyor specialising in Level 2 and Level 3 private client work, we’d be very interested in speaking with you.
Lender Workflow – Mortgage Valuations & Level 2 Surveys
We are currently recruiting Residential Surveyors across the following locations:
- Leicester
- Bolton
- Preston
- Blackburn
- York
- Cambridge
- Croydon
- South East London
- Reading
- Oxford
- Plymouth
- Bristol
- Coventry
These opportunities will predominantly involve mortgage valuation reports and Level 2 Homebuyer reports, working from an established lender workflow.
The roles would suit MRICS or AssocRICS Residential Surveyors who are comfortable working within a structured lender environment, producing professional reports and managing a local geographical patch.
Private Client Workflow – Level 2 & Level 3 Surveys
We also have opportunities available for Residential Surveyors looking to focus on private client instructions, with a strong emphasis on Level 2 Homebuyer Reports and Level 3 Building Surveys.

These roles are particularly suited to Residential Surveyors who enjoy the more detailed and varied nature of private Surveys and take pride in producing high-quality reports.
Across both areas of recruitment, we’re keen to hear from Residential Surveyors who:
- Hold MRICS or AssocRICS status, or are approaching qualification.
- Have solid Residential Surveying experience.
- Produce high-quality and professionally written reports.
- Have strong technical knowledge of residential property.
- Are confident managing their own diary and geographical patch.
- Take pride in delivering an excellent service to clients and stakeholders.
We’re also particularly interested in hearing from newlyqualified Surveyors and those who have qualified, or are approaching qualification, through the SAVA pathway.
