Senior Property Manager – Remote

Overview

As Senior Block Manager you will own a London residential portfolio, delivering consistent service while maintaining financial, compliance and operational controls. The role blends remote, home-based work with regular on-site attendance across London, enabling autonomy and direct impact on residents and directors. You’ll work with senior leadership to manage risk, safety, and contractor performance, shaping how the portfolio is run. This is a hands-on, influential position in a respected property management organisation with a clear mission to uphold standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of residential blocks and mixed-use developments
• Prepare service charge budgets, monitor expenditure and flag funding issues
• Manage RMC and RTM relationships and communicate with directors and leaseholders
• Oversee building safety and fire-safety actions across the portfolio
• Manage contractors and inspect works and standards on site when needed
• Identify operational, financial or compliance risks and propose solutions
• Provide structured updates to senior leadership and minimise escalations
• Attend developments in London on-site for safety, contractor, or client matters

Key requirements

• ATPI or MPTI qualification
• Strong knowledge of London residential block management
• Experience preparing and managing service charge budgets and forecasts
• Knowledge of RMC and RTM governance
• Knowledge of building safety, fire safety, contractor management and residential compliance
• Clear written and verbal communication with directors, leaseholders and contractors
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business travel
• Experience with higher-rise buildings, major works, remediation or live FRA actions is beneficial but not essential
