Overview

You will join Fieldfisher’s market-leading Real Estate Litigation team in Manchester to handle a broad range of property disputes. You will work with cross-office colleagues on high‑quality matters for developers, lenders and institutions, applying legal know‑how to protect assets and resolve disputes. This role offers exposure to notable projects and a culture that values inclusion, collaboration, and client service excellence. You will develop commercially aware, solution‑oriented advice that supports clients across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Handle contentious and potentially non-contentious property matters
• Draft legal documents with accuracy and clarity
• Conduct comprehensive legal research
• Assist with business development initiatives
• Ensure precise time recording and efficient diary management
• Communicate with clients, counsel, barristers, and external advisers professionally and empathetically

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Strong academic record; excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality
• Genuine interest in property litigation and high-quality client service
• Commercial awareness and proactive approach to practice development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; contribute to team culture and collaboration across global teams
