We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Trade Parts Sales Representative

to join our busy Barretts Parts Hub team. This role is focused on building strong trade parts sales relationships, supporting customers with their parts requirements and delivering an outstanding customer experience in line with manufacturer standards and Barretts policies.

Working with trade customers in person and over the telephone, you will take the time to understand their requirements, identify the correct parts, explain the benefits of genuine manufacturer parts and ensure each customer receives a clear, professional and efficient service.

You will also play an important part in developing trade sales opportunities, promoting current offers, processing orders accurately and working closely with colleagues across the Hub to support a high-performing and customer-focused parts operation.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be confident, commercially aware and able to build rapport with trade customers quickly. You should be comfortable handling customer enquiries, managing objections, identifying linked parts or additional sales opportunities, and working accurately within pricing, discounting and process guidelines.

You will need a proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to complete administration promptly and accurately, including updating customer records and processing invoices. A good understanding of parts systems, returns procedures and customer service standards would be advantageous.

Previous experience in trade parts sales, telesales or a parts advisor role is highly desirable.
Experience within a main dealer, manufacturer parts operation or motor factor environment would be advantageous.
Awareness and understanding of manufacturer trade parts programmes.
Strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to build lasting relationships with trade customers.
Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy, target-focused environment.
Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities to promote genuine parts, linked components and current offers.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm.
