Overview
In this role you will bridge analytics and AI to empower marketing teams with self-service insights. You will shape end-to-end AI-enabled analytics, defining standards, and guiding cross-functional adoption. You diagnose friction, design scalable solutions, and help teams ask better questions with data. This role offers impact across the Viator business by making data-driven decisions faster. You will lead a transformation toward AI-powered, accessible analytics at scale.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve data access and workflow bottlenecks by collaborating with marketing teams across performance, CRM, personalization, and incentives.
- Make data conversational through AI-powered interfaces, enabling colleagues to interrogate data without SQL.
- Own the vision and standards for the semantic layer to ensure consistent metrics and reliable self-service.
- Discover opportunities for agentic analytics pipelines that monitor performance and surface proactive insights.
- Automate repetitive analytics processes with AI-assisted pipelines and prompt engineering.
- Build and scale data literacy programs and tooling so the marketing organization uses data effectively.
Key requirements
- 3–5 years in analytics or data science; experience in travel, ecommerce, or marketplaces preferred.
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with BI/analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Hex, dbt or similar).
- Ability to translate analytical complexity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of driving adoption of new analytical tools and ways of working across teams.
- Active experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, LLM-powered workflows, or conversational analytics.
