Electrical Engineer – Fitzroy Place

Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Fitzroy Place, you will maintain and troubleshoot the building’s electrical infrastructure, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to ensure reliable operations. You join the Building Services Operating Unit within CPM, working with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements and safety standards. You will diagnose faults, perform plant adjustments, and support subcontractors while upholding Skanska’s Injury Free Environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day electrical maintenance and servicing across building systems
• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and fault finding
• Inspect electrical services and plants, ensuring work aligns with contract specs
• Operate Safe Systems of Work and apply them to contractual duties
• Induct and supervise subcontractors, ensuring safe deployment on site
• Adhere to health & safety policies and IFE principles

Key requirements

• Electrical City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 with BMS experience
• Good understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and water treatment
• IOSH Working Safely qualification
• Proven customer-facing experience in a commercial maintenance environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and an evidence-based problem-solving approach
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance in area of responsibility
