Overview

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of supply chain strategies aligned to major infrastructure objectives. You’ll shape category strategies across key spend areas and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive value and performance. You will monitor KPIs and build reporting to expose risks and opportunities, partner with project teams to ensure integrated, outcome-focused solutions, and push improvements in safety, cost and delivery. You’ll lead a high-performing, inclusive team while supporting sustainability and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of supply chain strategies aligned to programme objectives
• Drive category strategies across key spend areas to maximise value
• Provide market insight on supplier capacity and trends for decision-making
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to enhance performance
• Oversee supply chain performance management using data and KPIs
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for performance visibility
• Partner with project teams to ensure integrated, outcome-focused supply chain solutions
• Drive safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements through supply chain engagement and innovation
• Lead and develop a high-performing, collaborative team
• Support sustainability, digital and process transformation across procurement and supply chain

Key requirements

• Strategic sourcing experience in construction or infrastructure
• Strong supplier relationship management, negotiation, value delivery
• Excellent analytical skills translating data into insight
• Commercially astute with structured decision-making
• Experience developing and implementing large-scale supply chain or category strategies
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at all levels
