Overview

As a Manager in Deloitte’s Digital Forensics team, you lead forensic investigations for clients in commercial and public sectors within an ISO 17025 laboratory. You will oversee projects from scoping and data acquisition through analysis and reporting, working independently across multiple concurrent engagements. You’ll mentor junior colleagues and contribute to business development, while delivering high-quality outcomes for complex investigations. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage digital forensic investigations across scope, data collection, processing, analysis and reporting
• Conduct examinations of digital devices (computers, servers, mobile, cloud sources)
• Utilise standard forensic tools to extract and interpret digital evidence
• Maintain chain of custody and evidence integrity throughout the lifecycle
• Prepare detailed forensic reports with clear findings and conclusions
• Act as primary client contact, providing updates on progress and findings
• Manage multiple concurrent investigations ensuring quality, deadlines and budget
• Oversee risk and compliance procedures for new investigations
• Mentor and develop junior team members; foster quality and continuous improvement
• Support business development through proposals, presentations and bids

Key requirements

• Extensive experience with industry standard forensic tools (Cellebrite, Axiom, FTK Imager, EnCase or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of evidence handling and chain of custody best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting complex technical information
• Proven ability to manage complex investigations and multiple concurrent engagements
• Ability to support occasional next-day incident response on client sites or in-lab
