Overview
In this role, you will support a top national real estate team on residential development, regeneration, and strategic land matters for major housebuilders. You will handle a mix of acquisitions, disposals, and commercial real estate work, building client relationships and progressing your own caseload with increasing autonomy. The role offers exposure to high-quality national work and a collaborative culture in Cheltenham. You will contribute to growing the team’s footprint and impact in the development sector.
Responsibilities
- Residential development and regeneration acquisitions and disposals
- Strategic land work for housebuilders, promoters, and landowners
- Commercial real estate transactions including leases, landlord & tenant, investment, and portfolio deals
- Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising with commercial clarity
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to team initiatives
Key requirements
- England & Wales qualified solicitor, 4+ PQE (flexible for strong candidates)
- Experience in residential development, regeneration, and/or strategic land
- Confident handling of complex title due diligence
- Strong communicator with a proactive, commercial approach
- Able to commute to Cheltenham at least three days a week
