Overview

In this role you will lead international tax advisory work for Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction clients, focusing on cross-border M&A and tax strategy. You’ll collaborate with sector-leading Partners and a high-performing ITTS team to shape complex international tax solutions for UK and overseas MNCs. The role involves managing delivery quality, client relationships, and leadership of junior staff on strategically important transactions. You will help clients navigate global tax changes and optimise structures in a dynamic market. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships, proactively win work and contribute to new client opportunities
  • Oversee delivery of technically complex projects with a practical, business-focused approach
  • Ensure high quality client service and manage potential leads across the practice
  • Develop internal networks and leverage external connections for the team
  • Coach and mentor junior staff; contribute to their development and assignments
  • Contribute to team strategy and operations, including staff management and development

Key requirements

  • Qualified in ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent (or Tax Inspectors with Technical Training or Law qualification)
  • Degree qualified
  • Experienced corporate tax practitioner
  • Ability to read and interpret tax statutes and assess changes
  • Client-facing experience in UK tax or a similar jurisdiction
  • Experience in the Real Estate sector
  • Project management skills: planning, prioritisation, deadlines, budgeting
  • Client-focused and commercially aware
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong international and UK tax technical knowledge
  • Experience with cross-border M&A
  • Experience in real estate tax planning
