Senior Project Manager (Healthcare) – Real Estate

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end project management for healthcare commissions within the Real Estate division in Manchester. You will act as the primary day-to-day interface with clients, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met. You will guide governance, planning, risk, and reporting to deliver complex, high-impact projects. This position offers a chance to influence delivery on major healthcare schemes with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management on healthcare commissions
• Act as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met
• Establish project success criteria (time, cost, technical, and performance)
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment aspects
• Set up governance, processes and systems for the project
• Produce detailed project plans and manage procurement of resources
• Lead cross-functional project team and manage performance via KPIs
• Oversee change control and project finances
• Coordinate information flow between team and client; produce progress reports
• Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline
• Professionally qualified MCIOB or APM or similar
• Proven experience managing healthcare projects in a consultancy environment (candidates from contracting background considered)
