Overview
In this role you support the Cost Management Office/PMO for a global corporate real estate client, helping to benchmark, plan, budget, forecast and manage procurement. You work with the Commercial Lead to ensure robust cost controls, data integrity and informed decision-making across multiple projects. The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, sustainable delivery, and continuous improvement in cost management practice. You will be based in London and contribute to enabling high-performance project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Manage cost management and reporting across multiple projects with the Commercial Lead
- Oversee cost planning, benchmarking, procurement, cashflow, contract and claims governance
- Maintain and enhance cost and commercial databases ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Monitor budgets, accruals, contingencies, risks and change control against baselines
- Analyse project trends through dashboards and reporting tools to inform decision-making
- Build reliable forecasts and benchmarks to measure programme performance
- Manage and develop Cost Consultants, driving high performance and continuous improvement
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships and support net-zero ambitions through responsible delivery
Key requirements
- Degree in cost management or quantity surveying
- Strong expertise in cost planning, data analysis, Excel, and large cost datasets
- Proven stakeholder engagement, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of sector best practice, sustainability principles, and Capex/Opex commercial analysis
