Assistant Director – Financial Diligence – EY-Parthenon London

Overview

As Assistant Director in EY-Parthenon’s Financial Diligence, you’ll lead due diligence work on high-profile transactions and IPOs. You’ll co-develop client approaches, deliver insights, and present findings to clients and lenders. You’ll manage project teams and build internal and external networks to broaden services. The role includes cross-border collaboration and some travel. You’ll act as a trusted business advisor to clients and mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business drivers and co-develop client approach
• Project manage teams and coordinate deliverables
• Gather, verify and assess information to form views
• Prepare written reports, presentations and client discussions
• Build internal and external networks across EY for multi-disciplinary teams
• Identify opportunities to sell additional services to clients
• Contribute to business plan initiatives (e.g., key accounts, recruitment, client service framework)
• Provide coaching and support to junior team members

Key requirements

• Business Development experience
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Strong commercial or transaction experience including financial due diligence
• Excellent client service mindset and communication skills
