Residential Property Lawyer – Somerset

Overview

In this role you will handle a broad range of residential property matters from instruction to post-completion, supporting the Frome office of a busy conveyancing team. You will work with minimal supervision, delivering strong client service on sales, purchases, and shared ownership or help-to-buy transactions. This position offers flexible full- or part-time arrangements within a reputable, inclusive law practice. You will contribute to a high-volume, client-focused residential conveyancing practice and help maintain the firm’s local market presence.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a wide range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion
• Handle a busy caseload including sales and purchases, shared ownership and help-to-buy transactions
• Collaborate as part of a conveyancing team while maintaining strong client service
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise and supervise minimal to moderate supervision requirements
• Develop and maintain client relationships with a focus on quality and efficiency

Key requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in residential property law
• Qualified as Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proven experience in conveyancing teamwork and client service
• Frome-based role preference or willingness to work in Somerset area
