Academics are recruiting for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ellesmere Port looking for a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team.
The school believes that children learn best when they feel safe, confident, curious and encouraged to explore. You’ll be joining a team that values play-based learning, communication and developing children’s independence.
Your day could include:
- Supporting children across Nursery and Reception.
- Encouraging communication, language and social development.
- Supporting learning through play and practical activities.
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
- Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
- Helping create an exciting and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting children’s personal care and wellbeing where required.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification – desirable.
- Previous experience working with EYFS-aged children.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
- A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.An understanding of safeguarding and child development.
